Operation Profile: Three-Stage Seawater Brine Cooling Mode

Unlike conventional chilling methods, this project utilizes a smart three-stage brine cooling sequence to maximize thermal efficiency and product shelf-life:

1. Pre-Chilling on Outward Journey: Utilizing the ship's outward transit time, the system pre-chills the onboard seawater from an ambient +25°C down to +0°C before reaching the fishing grounds. This proactive cooling minimizes the thermal shock when the system goes under full load.

2. Ice-Water Mixture Formation: Before the catch is loaded into the fish-rooms, the pre-chilled 0°C seawater is pumped into individual holds and mixed with a small amount of crushed ice. This forms a perfect ice-water slurry that wraps around the fish instantly, rapidly lowering their core temperature and halting enzymatic degradation.

3. Freshness Maintenance on Backward Journey: During the long backward journey to the port, the system continuously circulates the cooling seawater to absorb residual heat from the fish body and water volume. The seawater inlet/outlet temperature is strictly maintained between +5°C and 0°C, ensuring the catch remains in a premium, fresh-frozen state for extended return voyages.
